AMOUAGE 40 years already! ‘The Gift of Kings’

In 1983, Sultan Qaboos Bin Said turned his vision into reality by introducing Oman’s own perfume range, inspired by its rich heritage of frankincense and myrrh. Named Amouage, a fusion of the French “amour” and the Arabic word for waves, the brand epitomizes luxury.

Named ‘The Gift of Kings,’ Amouage lives up to its reputation. Sultan Qaboos consistently gifted foreign dignitaries with the finest fragrances from the collection, earning the brand a cult following.

With over 50 fragrances, Amouage remains synonymous with luxury, always featuring signature notes like ambergris, incense, and rockrose.

Celebrating its 40th anniversary, Belgian creative director Renaud Salmon pays homage to the brand’s legacy with Dia 40 Woman and Jubilation 40 Man, blending tradition with innovation. The anniversary collection showcases meticulous aging and maceration techniques.

The highlight of the 40th anniversary was a breathtaking projection on the Burj Khalifa in Dubai last December, symbolizing four decades of Amouage’s timeless excellence.
