” For this latest opus, I have imagined a Juliette as carefree as a bubble of champagne, frivolous and disobedient. A heroine with a taste for every pleasure:
as tempting as an array of sumptuous sweets, it is she who leads the dance…
The fragrance, an extravagant cocktail of white fowers and ambery notes, is perverted with a gourmand twist whose name we cannot pronounce.
I do hope it is to your taste. Yours truly, “

– Romano Ricci

Top notes: Bubble Gum Accord
Heart notes: Jasmine Absolute, Tuberose Absolute
Base notes: Ambery Accord, Ambroxan

The most important Thing, Darling, is to live a fabulous Life!
– Freddie Mercury

About

Juliette Has a Gun

‘La beauté est la seule vengeance des femmes.’ This quote by Gainsbourg, which loosely translate to: ‘Beauty is the best revenge a woman can get’, is the perfect embodiment of Juliette has a Gun.

The brand made its debut in 2006 at Colette in Paris and is known to be as petulant and accomplished as the French singer.

The creator of Juliette has a Gun is Romano Ricci, the great-grandson of legendary couturier Nina Ricci, and grandchild of Robert Ricci, the creator of the legendary perfume ‘L’air du Temps’.

Despite his genes, Romano is a self- made man, who made his first perfume together with Francis Kurkdjian, but works solo ever since.

A few of his top-class fragrances are Lady Vengeance, Not a Perfume, Moscow Mule, Vanilla Vibes, Musc Invisible, Pear Inc., Magnolia Bliss and the just released Ego Stratis.

Juliette has a Gun also has a luxury collection, consisting of 7 fragrances which include Oil Fiction, White Spirit and Liquid Illusion.

“It would take me more than a lifetime to explore the complexity of women.

Juliette reflects this irresistible quest to decipher the mystery of Femininity.

Since the beginning, I have attempted to unravel, layer by layer, the facets of women with a capital W.

With this latest opus, I wanted to unite them all.

Sometimes Femme Fatale, sometimes Romantic, sometimes Boyish, «Ego Stratis» embraces all those contradictions while blurring the lines.

This accord, with its predominantly citrus and aquatic tones, is an ode to gender fluidity.

A modern interpretation of Cologne, an invitation to play with the multiple facets of one’s ego.” - Romano Ricci

Cecile Zarokian, a wonderful & great independent perfumer, created no less than 2 perfumes for the current newly reshaped Library Collection.
The first one, Silver Oud, is a manifestation of the tension between idealism and realism, the contradiction between thinking and feeling, and the power of mimetic desire.
The gold is a tribute to the Australian Gold Rush of the 19th century.
Goldfield & Banks celebrates this natural wealth, as well as the abundance of botanicals which grow out of this soil.
Silky Woods and Purple Suede are the first two perfumes composing Goldfield & Banks luxurious Botanical Series.

Encased in molten gold, these perfumes celebrate the richness of the botanicals grown in Australia and the surrounding islands.
