The French founder, Charles-Edouard Barthes fell in love with Japan and his beautiful Japanese wife. His brand is a homage to her and her beauty. Barthes has based his products upon the idea of Haute Couture: they need to be consisting of both technical and artistic perfection. He has teamed up with professor Ishibashi, who is known all over the world for his creativity and expertise, to create his products.
