Inspiration

Seduction is sometimes about showing a little and letting the imagination do the rest. I loved designing this fragrance as a game. First I imagined in the base notes that evoke the sensuality of the skin, then I hid them under an elegant dress of delicate flowers, and finally I looked for a tantalising top note to arouse curiosity immediately. The subtlety lies in the fact that one subconsciously wants to smell the hidden side of the floral accord.

Creation

SUBTILE is a floral symphony you will want to hear more about.
In the top notes, citrus notes are worked with pink berries to immediately express a penetrating femininity. The flowers quickly make their entrance, with a very delicate bouquet of peony and lily of the valley at the heart, and the appearance of freesia brings a slightly exotic touch. In the base notes, cedarwood, ambroxan and a sandalwood musk accord entice with the promise of hidden sensuality.

Cecile Zarokian, a wonderful & great independent perfumer, created no less than 2 perfumes for the current newly reshaped Library Collection.
The first one, Silver Oud, is a manifestation of the tension between idealism and realism, the contradiction between thinking and feeling, and the power of mimetic desire.
The gold is a tribute to the Australian Gold Rush of the 19th century.
Goldfield & Banks celebrates this natural wealth, as well as the abundance of botanicals which grow out of this soil.
