The Frankincense Variety
Frankincense, derived from the sacred resin of the Boswellia tree, has its roots in the arid landscapes of Oman, Somalia, and Ethiopia, where it symbolizes spirituality and nobility. Nourished by extreme climates and mineral-rich soils, it grows slowly, shaped by patience and time.
Cultivated on rugged terrain, the tree is carefully scored according to an ancestral craft passed down through generations. From these incisions flows a milky resin that crystallizes into precious tears when exposed to the air.
Hand-harvested once fully matured, frankincense reveals a pure, luminous material with resinous, balsamic, and subtly citrusy facets.
